Sudin promises to complete Kranti maidan work before 18 June

A freedom fighter has demanded that names of all freedom hailing from Ponda taluka be inscribed on stone at the Kranti Maidan.
He said the names of those Ponda freedom fighters settled outside the taluka should also be included at the Kranti Maidan. PWD Minister Sudin Dhavlikar has assured to complete the job by 18th June this year.
Sudin convened a meeting at Kranti Maidan on Friday to discuss completion of the remaining work at the Kranti Maidan.
Kranti Maidan is a memorial dedicated to martyrs of Goa Liberation struggle-cum-recreation ground.
It was hastily inaugurated even though a lot of work was pending. It was severely criticized for being extravagant as each lion monolith cost several lakhs of rupees
