Sancoale Communidade election deferred after drama over election procedures

The Sancoale Communidade elections were postponed after a huge drama over the procedures followed by the presiding officer.



Chaotic scenes prevailed during elections after some candidates alleged that ballot papers were given to communidade stake holders outside the election premises. 

Some candidates were allegedly seen filling the ballot paper outside the premises. Elections took place on Sunday from 10 in the morning till 5 in the evening.

Several senior citizens expressed their anger over the time taken to conduct elections. The authorities have approached the South Goa CollectorTariq Thomas to decide on the next date for the election.
