National games

Once we get that then need at least 5 months to hold the games, the chief minister Pramod Sawant told the house during question hour on Wednesday.

 After January could be a convenient time to hold the games, he said. 

 The Chief Minister helping out his cabinet colleague Sports Minister Babu Azgaonkar to reply to combined question by Wilfred D' Sa and Sudin Dhavalikar on the National Games.

Dhavalikar wanted to know whether the Government will organize the 36th National Games, penalty if any for delay, details of works undertaken, whether infrastructure was ready and reasons for delay in holding the games.

The national games have already been postponed a couple of times Infact the state

government had been levied a fine of 10 crore rupees, subsequently reduced to 6 crore rupees for the delay. 

Now the state was supposed to have held it in November But looks alike this will also not happen
