Illegal structure demolished at Sada

Tension prevailed at headland Sada on Tuesday after the Mormugao Municipality officials began the demolition of an illegal structure occupied by Salim Sheikh.
Matter was in the high court for many years and now as it was disposed in the favor of Municipality, demolition was fixed on Tuesday.
House owner Salim says that his neighbor had lodged a
complaint that the structure was illegal.
This the court had upheld. However, the family members say they are helpless and have no place to stay. Demolition was carried out under a chaotic situation.
