Delimitation process; 900 plus ojections filed

The State election commission has released the final numbers of the objections filed on delimitation by the last date - 4th February even as many in the opposition wanted more time. Around 957 objections were filed across Goa, with most filed in North Goa.

Goa will be going for panchayat polls on 6 June. SECI has already published delimitations of village panchayats across Goa. 4^th February was the last date to file suggestion, modifications and corrections to the delimitation process. Around 694 objections were filed in North Goa and 236 were filed in South Goa.

Tiswadi part 1 saw highest number with 110 objection filed followed by Bardez part 1 271 and Bardez part 78.
