AIDED SCHOOL TRS TO BE BROUGHT UNDER CCS RULE

In light of Goa’s below average performance at the national level, Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant has said that the Govt is considering the implementation of CCS Rule for teachers of aided schools.

 The recently released National Achievement Survey Report was the highlight of the meeting chaired by the Chief Minister today. As per the report, the state’s results fall below the national average right from 3^rd up to 10^th standards, especially in Math, Social sciences and language.

The Chief Minister announced that the government would extend the CCS Rule to teachers of aided schools. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the future of our Goan students, he said.

 The Central Govt’s National Education Policy which has been recently notified, is set to be implemented  in education institutes across the country. The Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant, who holds the education portfolio, announced details about the process of implementation of NEP in Goa. Listen
