12th Boards Cancellation: oppn welcomes, wants to know details of way forward

The leader of opposition Digambar Kamat welcomed the move to cancel the 12th standard exams as this would ensure that children's health would not be compromised. However, he said that the governemnt had to take the help of experts and work out the modalities of the way forward.

Last night the chief minister, who is also the education minister  had announced that the exams were cancelled.
