Salcete truck owners allege cheating by MPT on rates

Salcete Truck Owners Association alleged that they are not being paid the proper rates for coal transportation from the Mormugao port.
The association submitted a memorandum to the South Goa Collector and threatened to come on the streets in protest.
On Tuesday morning, the members of the Salcete Truck owners along with opposition Congress leaders met the South Goa Collector.
They alleged that they are being cheated and are not getting paid the correct amount.
They have also complained that the MPT sometimes uses trucks from other states.
