IDC to sell 5 lakh sq mtrs to repay SEZ promoters

Industries Minister Vishwajeet Rane now wants a vision document for industries.

The vision document will help to bring clean and green industries in Goa and also provide employment to youth.

The five Special Economic Zone promoters had returned 38.4 lakh square meters of land to Goa Industrial Development Corporation.

The government had decided to settle the promoters paying them principle amount along with the interest.

Now, Rane has decided to auction five lakh sq mtrs of land through the IDC.

He wants good industries at this place instead of commercial establishments.
