2-day bank strike, ATM services may be affected

The United Forum of Bank Unions has called for a 2-day nationwide strike on May 30 & 31st.

This may also affect ATM services.

In Goa, the bank employees will stage a protest at Panaji’s Azad Maidan on Wednesday.

 Goa Bank Employees’ Association and other members of United Forum of Bank Unions have endorsed the nationwide strike.

The bank unions have been pressing for various demands, including wage revision in the wake of the proposal for a 2 percent hike in salary.
