Petrol in Goa rises by 1.12 rupees

Petrol is costly once again.



But this time Goa Government has done it.

By 1 rupee 12 paise per litre. Because diesel was costly than petrol in Goa. The VAT on petrol is hiked from 13 per cent to 15 per cent.


It would now cost minimum 64 rupees per litre.Petrol in Goa was 62 rupees 87 paise per litre. And diesel is 63 rupees 58 paise. Almost 71 paise cheaper. But now with the two per cent hike in the Value Added Tax, petrol would cost 63 rupees 99 paise. Only 41 paise costly than diesel. But it would be still cheaper than neighbouring states. 73 rupees 72 paise in Karwar in Karnataka and 76 rupees 93 paise in Sindhurug of Maharashtra. Also the diesel in Karwar is 67 rupees 59 paise and in Sindhudurg, it is 67 rupees 52 paise. There is also marginal rise in ATF fuel for small aircrafts and natural gas.
