Sheik attached to the Vasco Traffic Cell was on duty on Sunday night when he was arrested.

 Vasco Traffic Cell PI Roy Pereira along with other Traffic police were carrying out drive against drunken driving  at Dabolim when the accused Som Nashkar riding a motorcycle did not stop his motorcycle and intentionally rammed sheikh with the two Wheeler injuring him.
