Universities most likely to open by Nov 18

There is still suspense over the re-opening of schools after 15th October. However, the universities are seems to ready to reopen by November.



University Grants Commission in its notice has said affiliated colleges and universities are most likely to resume classes for odd semesters from 18th November.


UGC said universities have to conduct classes for 6 days in one week this semester to cover up the academic loss due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.


Earlier, the commission had informed all the affiliated universities that the classes for all the students for the academic session 2020-2021 will most likely start in November.


The institutes also have to complete the admission process for this session by October 31.


Universities affiliated with UGC are most likely to re-start by November 18

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the classes will be conducted in a blended mode for this semester


Universities will have the liberty to conduct the classes in online or offline mode as per the convenience of the students and teachers


Universities will also have to refund the full fees in case of the cancellation of admission


UGC has also instructed that the merit-based admissions in all affiliated colleges must be completed by October 31 to avoid further loss of the academic year for the students as well as the faculty.
