The curfew has just been extended. And even though the cases are coming down there are warning of a possible third wave. However, this has not deterred people from crowing to buy their stuff as if there is no tomorrow.

After literally getting out of control, things are better now. However, experts have been warning that masks and social distancing are very important even for vaccinated people. But this message does not seem to have got through. And the enforcement is virtually nil.

However, in the Margao municipal market better sense prevailed. The Margao Municipal Council along with police shutdown Non essential shop were opened by trader's. Essential shops were allowed to function. Chief Officer Agnelo Fernandes said that that as per Guidelines the non essential shops were shut down.
