India sees decline in daily & active covid cases

India saw decline in coronavirus cases for the second day. The total cases have reached 71.75 lakhs. Also more than 62.27 lakhs recovered from covid-19. The active cases have also declined by 15% in last 26 days. The active cases are now declined to 8.38 lakhs, which were earlier 10.14 lakhs on 16th September.

People are eagerly waiting for coronavirus vaccine. Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan gave details of coronavirus vaccine and its distribution in cabinet meeting. There is possibility that a potential covid-19 vaccine could roll out in the begining of 2021, the health minister said.

A single day jump of 55,342 covid-19 cases were reported in India. In last 24 hours 706 deaths were reported and 77,760 patients have recovered.

Here are five worst hit coronavirus states. Maharashtra is leading with 15.35 lakh mark of covid-19 cases followed by Andhra Pradesh 7.58 lakh, Karnataka 07.17 lakh, Tamil Nadu 6.61 lakh and UP 4.39 lakh.
