BJP says rallies with covid protocols to happen; prepare for 3rd wave

The political rallies can be held by as long as they follow covid protocols as the weekly positive rate and active covid cases are less right now, BJP Medical Cell Dr Shekar Salkar said adding that 70% population in Goa will be vaccinated by next month.



Political rallies that are being held by the BJP for upcoming elections had drawn lot flak among people on social media.

Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and BJP State president Sadanand Shet Tanavade are being accused of flouting covid protocols during their road shows.

When questioned BJP State president Tanavde on this he said he will address this topic in next press conference and told Salkar to speak on the issue.

BJP has started its National Health Volunteer campaign in wake of third covid-19 fear.

Three doctors of BJP medical cell from Goa had gone to Delhi for training to deal with primary medical emergency.

These three doctors trained 22 members of medical cell including doctors.

These further trained 125 members of mandals. Total 150 members are trained now.  This training will be further provided to booth level workers.
