BYE BYE 2020; Welcome 2021

2020 is gone. 2021 is here. Tourists and locals are on the beaches on the roads to welcome the new year after a very stressful and painfull 2020. Watch as for few hours Goans and also tourists forget government's SOPs and bid farewell to 2020 and welcomed 2021 hoping the new year is better. Watch.



Everyone seems to have forgotten that Goa is still under the shadow of coronavirus.


Programs were held in villages, cities and coastal areas. Watch the scenes of farewell captured by Goa 365 of the feelings of tourists.

In Colva beach, most were busy clicking selfies. There was no such thing as social distancing.


But, police were seen doing nothing in many cases. Parking arrangement were made by the police.


DySP Pramod Shirvoikar explained the measures taken by the police. Queues were witnessed at petrol pumps.


Police were seen running pillar to post to avoid traffic congestions.


The tourists playing on the beach had forgotten social distancing and masks.

Now watch the scenes from Palolem beach. On 31st December this beach dips into festive mood but this year there were less tourists.
