Additional Solicitor General of India & Goa's former AG is arguing the case of Goa before Mhadei Tribunal. In the background of Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar giving letter to Karnataka BJP Chief B S Yedyurappa, agreeing to hold bilateral talks on providing drinking water, Nadkarni gives the factual position in the court matter. He also blames the Congress government led by Pratapsing Rane for giving no objection letters to both Maharashtra and Karnataka to utilise Mhadei water. Also claims Parrikar's letter won't affect Goa's interest. And alleges that Karnataka is demanding 7.56 TMC of water for drinking when actual requirement is only 0.3 TMC.
