30 Sports personnel awarded Kerkar State Sports Awards

Bakshi BahaddarJivabaDada Kerkar Sports Awards are one of the prestigious awards in the State.

These awards were last awarded to the sports heroes in 2002, after nearly 17 years these awards were awarded on Thursday at the NIO auditorium.

The awards were awarded to 22 different persons and 8 organizers in the field of sports.

The awards were given by the Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar along with Sports Minister Babu Azgaonkar, Director of Sports V.M Prabhudessai and other officials.

The Government announced that the Sports awards will not be delayed anymore.

They will be given yearly from now on, said Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar at Kerkar State Sports Awards on Thursday evening.
