Protest against demonetization, GST held in capital

This protest was held in the Capital city on Wednesday evening and is part of the countrywide protest called by the Congress party.

This protest was held all over the country to protest against the note bandi and implementation of GST.

The Congress alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government has betrayed the people and is making the common man suffer.

Present for the protest were GPCC president Shantaram Naik, Leader of Opposition Babu Kavlekar, Ponda MLA Ravi Naik, Curtori MLA Reginaldo Lourenco, Mahila Congress President Pratima Couthino along with many Congress workers and supports.

 The Ponda MLA has questioned where the 15 lakhs which were supposed to be deposited in every Indian’s account by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He alleged that the Modi government has just fooled the people and made them suffer.
