GF & MGP on loggerheads on Dr Jack Sequeira’s statue

Goa Forward had its own Opinion Poll rally in Madgao on Tuesday evening.

The party leaders and even ministers threatened to move out of the government on certain crucial issues.

And Goa Forward president and minister Vijai Sardesai said his party would go to any extent if Dr Jack Sequeira’s statue is not installed in the Assembly complex.

 On the other hand, Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party leader and minister Sudin Dhawalikar is not in favour of it.

He has not directly opposed Dr Jack Sequeira’s statue. But he has opposed any more statues in the complex.

The Assembly complex already has Dr Bhausaheb Bandodkar’s statue installed.

Except MLA Michael Lobo, nobody in the BJP has expressed their opinion on Dr Jack Sequeira’s statue.

Not even chief minister Manohar Parrikar.
