Cong against simultaneous elections but doesn't mind Goa with Lok Sabha

Both the Congress and Goa Forward seem to be on the same page on this. That it is not possible to have simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. Goa Forward dismisses it as a stunt to energise cadres.

The President and the Prime Minister have pushed the case for simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly polls recently.

The reasons given are many for this. But the Congress has pointed out that this needs a constitutional amendment. But it said that discussions could be held on the issue.
