Political vendetta? God knows what it is: Digambar

Former chief minister Digambar Kamat says that Almighty God knows what is the truth behind illegal mining. He doesn’t want to spell it out at this stage. According to him, he is innocent.
He also doesn’t want to say whether it is a political vendetta. He says people know what it is.
The Former chief minister Digambar Kamat was summoned to appear before the SIT for questioning in connection with Dr Praful Hede’s mining lease renewal condonation delay case.
He was slated to appear before SIT on Tuesday. But he had not appeared before them citing health issues. He had said that he would appear on Friday.
The former Chief Minister’s son Yogiraj Kamat and his brother in law Satish Lawande have already been questioned by the SIT.
