‘Introspect will revoking residential projects’, TCP Minister to Gram Sabhas

Gram Sabhas should introspect while revoking permission to residential projects. Also villagers should give alternatives to the government about what they want in their villages, the Town and Country Planning Minister Vijai Sardesai told Goa 365 on Saturday.

Gram sabhas were up in arms some time back against mega projects arguing that these would bring in an influx of outsiders and change the demography of the village.

The TCP Minister said that now this was a thing of the past and, but people needed housing. So if there were nay issues, villagers should discuss this among themselves  and put the alternatives before the government.
