Curtorim gram sabha passes resolution against coal transportation

  The members of the gram sabha also raised issues such as the migrant settlers obtaining water and electricity connections for their new structures bypassing the panchayat authorities.

 The renting of rooms by local residents was also an issue raised in the gram sabha. The panchayat has  decided to increase house tax by ten per cent .

A resolution was also passed  to raise fee for issui9ng trade licences from 5 rupees to 7 rupees per square metre.
