Chaos, confusion mar Davorlim gram sabha

 The gram sabha also resolved to oppose the education hub. It passed another resolution opposing the nationalization of rivers and coal hub. 

 A major confusion broke up after a gram sabha member threatened to use his chappals on the panchas.

The sarpanch adjourned the meeting after heated discussing with a lot of pushing and shoving marred the proceedings. Finally peace was restored, an apology tendered and the proceedings continued.    

 The sarpanch Franzy Gomes told Goa 365 that they would write a letter asking the chief minister Manohar Parrikar,TCP minister Vijai Sardesai and local MLA Luizinho Faleiro to hold discussions with the people on the proposed education hub as per the wishes of the gram sabha.
