RTO on the other hand said they are issuing challans for violating the law and harassing the passengers. The blockade was lifted after transport officials agreed to act on their written grievances

Hundreds of passengers were stranded at the Madgao KTC bus stand as the private bus operators blocked the access roads.

When police rushed to the bus stand to clear the road, they refused to operate buses unless RTO officers come and meet them. Later on, they met the transport officials.

The RTO has assured them to forward their grievances to the higher authorities. But the RTO also argues that they are acting on the basis of harassment complaints they have been receiving from the passengers.

It includes overcrowding as well as misbehavior by conductors and drivers..

 मडगांवचो पुलीस निरीक्षक चेतन पाटीलान मध्यस्थी करून बसवाल्यांक आरटीओकडेन व्हेलें. ते प्रमाण ते सगळेच येरादारी उपसंचालक प्रकाश खोलकाराक मेळ्ळे.

खोलकाराच्या म्हण्ण्याप्रमाण प्रवाशांनीच ह्या बसवाल्यांचेर कागाळी केल्यात. मेळत तशे लोकांक भरतात आनी कंडक्टर-ड्रायव्हर लोकांक सतायतात म्हुणून.
