Harmal local offers land to Tourism Dept to build toilet and parking facilities

 This nod comes after local MLA along with officials from various departments visited the Harmal and Mandrem beaches on Tuesday.

Mandre MLA Dayanand Sopte, GTDC Director Jeet Arolkar, officials from  Forest Department, PWD, along with Mandre and Harmal panchas inspected Mandre and Harmal beaches.  The inspection was regarding a proposal by Tourism

 The inspection was regarding a proposal by Tourism Department to build a parking lot, toilets, changing rooms and other facilities for tourists.

 Tourism Department has received around 100 crore rupees from the central government for developing beach facilities.

A Harmal resident Nitin Kudao has offered to give NOC to construct an access road, a parking lot and toilet facilities on his land.
