Not everyday does a minister openly accept the lapse. Goa 365 has been relentlessly taking up the issue of heaps of undisposed bio-medical waste lying unattended, some even sold to scrap collectors.

When we posed the question to the health minister, he has agreed to faulty facility by the government but has promised necessary action.

Look at these heaps of biomedical waste lying around. None of it can be decomposed, and if not treated in full capacity, it can be hazardous.

We took up the matter with the health minister who honestly accepted lapses at the very basic level.

This unattended waste is from Madgaon, south Goa majorly is reeling with this issue with no place to dispose or treat.

Though government has promised action but right now many lives are at risk. It’s high time it is addressed. Till then we will keep pursuing the issue.
