India's first two-wheeler ambulance at your service

In a first of its kind in the country, 108 ambulance service launched 20 two-wheeler ambulances in Goa. The two-wheeler ambulances will cater as the first response to any mishaps and will aid those in need.



Chief Minister  Manohar Parrikar launched 20 2-wheeler ambulances at the secretariat in Porvorim.

 The ambulances are equipped with digital BP app, pulse oximeter, stethoscope, thermometer and various masks, and first aid to stabilize the patient.

The ambulance riders are sent for 45-day training to Hyderabad before being inducted into service. 

Each motorcycle costs around 1 lakh rupees.
