Street gadas in Sankhali to be relocated by SMC

The Sankhali municipality has decided to relocate about 52 street gadas scattered across the municipal area.



The municipality has setup a deadline that by the end of this month all the street vendors and gada owners should submit a new application and deposit fees of rupees 50,000 for the new shop.

Sankhali Municipal Council Dharmesh Saglani said that the SMC is planning to come up with a new proposal for street gadas and vendors, about 60 shops will be constructed in the market area where they would be shifted.

Meanwhile, the vendors and street owners said that after getting relocated and shifted this will affect their business and will lead to a big loss.
