Goa government has failed to notify new Disabilities Act

The president of Disabilities Rights Association of Goa says the Disabilities Act gives numerable benefits to people with disabilities, but in absence of its notification, these benefits are denied to these people.

The Disabilities Rights Association of Goa celebrated its 14th  anniversary at the function held at EDC building on Saturday.

Present on the occasion were  Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly Dr Pramod Sawant, President of the Disability Rights Association of Goa Avelino D’Sa,  assistant professor of Vidya Prabhodini College of Education Porvorim and other dignitaries.
