Airport taxi operators pray for Chief Minister’s health

United taximen union, a union of around 350 yellow and black taxi operators plying from Dabolim airport performed a Satyanarayana mahapooja at Shree Damodar temple Vasco on Tuesday morning.

The pooja was held for the speedy recovery of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.

The Chief Minister is undergoing treatment at Lilavati hospital in Mumbai.

The pooja was attended by South Goa MP Narendra Sawaikar, Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida, Mormugao MLA Milind Naik and other leaders of Mormugao taluka.

MP Sawaikar appealed to the people not to fall prey to false rumours about the Chief Minister’s health.
