Security & traffic arrangements in place for 48th IFFI

Security and traffic are an important aspect of any international festival. And IFFI 2017 is no exception. Especially as there are more than 300 Hollywood and Bollywood stars including union ministers set to grace the 48th edition of the film festival.

 No vehicles will be allowed to be parked on the DBB Marg, which is the main boulevard where the activities will take place.  

 To ensure the smooth movement of vehicular traffic during the Festival to start from Monday till November 28 elaborate traffic arrangements have been made. The Opening Ceremony and the Closing ceremony will be held at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium,

Taleigao and all the remaining events will be held at Kala Academy, Inox and Maquinez Palace. The open screening for public viewing will be held at Joggers Park, Altinho, Vasco and Margao during the festival.

 Those attending the Opening and Closing Ceremony at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, on  20th and 28th November and coming from North and South Goa (except Panaji) have to come via NH 17 and on reaching GMC Bambolim take Goa University road and come up to the function venue.
