I will oppose ban on beach swimming after sunset: BJP MLA

15 Sep 2017 08:42 PM

BJP MLA and Goa Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Nilesh Cabral has opposed his own government’s decision to ban swimming in the sea after 7 in the evening.

He has also said he would oppose it on a proper forum of the government, because he finds it absurd.

It was the Rannmalem of Goa365, where the announcement of tourism minister Babu Ajgaonkar to ban swimming after sunset was debated.

The shack owners as well as operators of adventure tourism criticised government’s decision.

But they wholeheartedly supported banning glass bottles on the beaches as well as cooking on the beaches.

He has also said he would oppose it on a proper forum of the government, because he finds it absurd.
