Cortalim beach facilities to be upgraded

 Also all trees which would be cut during expansion of NH17  would be replaced by a forestation drive. 

Cortalim MLA Alina Saldanha on Tuesday assured that all beaches starting with Velsao beach would get basic facilities such as Toilets, shower room and changing room on a priority. 

Alina told media on the sidelines of saplings distribution drive in Cortalim  that Goa being a tourist destination all beaches should be beautified and well maintained.

She has also assured that the trees which are going to cut under expansion of NH17  road would be replaced by forestation drive that she along with the villagers would initiate shortly after the completion of the highway expansion works.
