New policy on Sports marks still beneficial: Goa Board

Sports marks new policy won’t affect the students.



In fact, the students can use these marks for getting jobs and during the higher education process.

Secretary of Goa Board secondary and higher secondary G.V Gadgil said that this new policy will not affect the students but will benefit them.

The new policy of marks not being added in the grand total of the marksheet was taken on Monday.

It was decided that the list of sports marks will be added separately on the mark sheet.

The sports marks will not be added to the grand total. This decision will be applicable from March 2018.

 Secretary of Goa Board secondary and higher secondary G.V Gadgil said that the sports marks not added on mark sheet today can be used in future or for higher education.
