FIFA U17 World Cup starts in 4 days

The countdown to FIFA U 17 has begun.



 The tournament will begin with matches being played in Navi Mumbai and New Delhi having on the 6th of October. 

While the First match in Goa will be played on 7th of October 2017.

Ironically FIFA Under-17 World Cup in India will have no opening ceremony as the opening ceremony was formally cancelled after FIFA President Gianni Infantino refused to attend it.

The government wanted to go ahead with an opening ceremony of its own despite FIFA, the governing body for world football, making it clear that the focus should be on the opening match.

Goa will be hosting 9 matches at Fatorda, which also includes a quarter-final.

The matches will be played at 5 and 8 in the evening and they will kick off in Goa from the 7th of October.

Team Germany has already began its practice at the Nagoa grounds. On Tuesday Germany practiced at the GMC Bambolim stadium at 5 in the evening.

Here are the matches to be played in Goa at the Fatorda Stadium.

Goa will host Group B and Group D matches in addition to two matches of the round of 16 along with one quarter-final.
