FC Goa signs former Espanyol & Barcelona star Manuel Lazorante

FC Goa has now signed another new International footballer. The latest to join the Gaurs for the 4th season of the Indian Super League is Manuel Lazorante, the former La Liga player who was a teammate of Lionel Messi during his days at the Barcelona B side.



Manuel Lazorante, the left winger is the fourth Spanish player to join the squad for this year’s ISL.

He has played for teams like Espanyol in the Spanish La Liga and was released by his previous club Real Zaragoza for joining the FC Goa team.

The 33-year-old has predominantly played his football in Spain and has represented the B teams of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

His last stint with Real Zaragoza can be termed as a real success with the winger scoring 11 goals in 51 appearances.
