Tribals have no toilets, no treated water: AAP

Aam Aadmi Party’s Women’s wing has alleged that tribals in Quepem, Canacona, and Sanguem are still a neglected lot.



 Neither proper toilets nor access to treated water. They met the South Goa Collector. He says the administration has already taken steps in this regard.

According to the memorandum submitted by AAP, 20 percent of Goa’s households do not have toilet facilities.


Eighteen percent of the households do not have access to treated water. Quepem, Sanguem and Canacona inhabited by scheduled tribes. AAP has demanded basic facilities for the tribal people.
