Swachch Bharat just another slogan in Goa

 This is evident from the fact that people at Mapusa bus stand urinate in the open  and that too next to sulabh toilet. It is no better even at the newly built Mapusa police station. Its backyard is full of garbage and plastics.  Question is : wil Swchch Bharat Abhiyan ever be a reality in Goa?

 Students from  saint  Xavier’s college Mapusa and other colleges had organized an awareness programme against open urination at Mapusa bus stand on Saturday.

They had sought help from police station but none came. They had also sought two garbage vehicles from Mapusa Municipal Council.

The civic body too failed to cooperate with the students despite the written requests. Every day people urinate in the open and that too next to sulabh toilet at Mapusa bus stand.

It is no better even at the newly built Mapusa police station. Its backyard is full of garbage and plastics.

Here one can see leaking water pipe with a possibility of contamination. Will Swachch Bharat Abhiyan ever take root in Goa?
