One more cross desecrated in Margao, ‘Desecrations to target ME’: Vijai

This is the cross which was found desecrated in Kalkonda in Margao. It was erected in the memory of late PSI Simon Fernandes who was murdered way back in the year 1993.

Despite heavy police patrolling because of recent desecration of a temple in the vicinity this act took place in the early hours on Friday.

Unlike all other recent desecration acts, in this case one eyewitness claims that he had seen a person with white tata indica present at the site in the wee hours on Friday.

Locals say they will not get disturbed with such instances.

Goa Forward Minister Vijai Sardesai says it is not the failure of Police, rather he feels there is some sort of conspiracy behind these acts.
