Old footbridge of Sanvordem finally dismantled

The old bridge joining Sanvordem and Kurchorem will also remain closed for transport until the fitness reports confirm that it is good enough for the purpose of transport. 

After the massive tragedy that made national headline on 18^th May, locals had demanded for dismantling the remaining portion of the old footbridge.

After almost a month on 21^st of this month another person had committed suicide by jumping off from this bridge.

PWD authorities finally dismantled the bridge on Friday.
