Marcel sculptors nurture creativity through eco-friendly Ganeshas.

Amateur sculptors from Marcel have displayed their creativity through sculpting creative idols of Lord Ganesha. These idols are made of recyclable and eco friendly materials.
It was Sai Kala Mandal at Tariwada-Marcel’s Namdev Tari, who pioneered the concept that is now followed by different groups across the state.
Tari was inspired by life-size Lord Ganesha idols at Belgaum and Kolhapur who initiated the trend in Goa by creating a Ganesha idol with coconuts in 2001.
