IMA Goa condemns threat to on-duty Docs, demands preventive action

Goa chapter of the Indian Medical Association has condemned one such incident that happened at Primary Health Centre Sankhali. 

IMA has appealed to the chief minister to take immediate action on the perpetrators in this case.

Dr. Atul Pai Bir was threatened by some miscreants at Sankhali Primary Health Centre on last Saturday due to an altercation on a petty issue.

This is 3^rd such incident in recent months. IMA Goa has has thus demanded CCTV vigil and extra police protection to the doctors as preventive measures along with stricter action.
