Truck owners demands Insurance and road tax only in quarterly installments

Dharbandora Taluka Truck association has demanded that the Government give a concession on the Insurance payments and road tax only in quarterly installments of their trucks.



 Members of the association also said the transportation rate should be increased.

The members of the association said that the rate needs to be increased to at least 14 rupees per ton/km. They also want the GPS fee to be paid monthly.

Another of their demands was that the government should impose either a speed governor or GPS systems as it the cost for both would be too expensive for them.
