Vasco Saptha fair now only for 7 days

The Mormugao Municipal Council on Monday decided to keep Damodar Bhajani Saptha fair only for seven days.

The annual festival will start from the 28^th of July. Council also resolved to grant its approval for the proposed Swimming Pool project at Vasco.

Both these decisions were taken during the special council meet of MMC held at Council Hall on Monday.

A decision was also taken to stop heavy vehicle transportation through Vasco city roads for 24 hours during the first day of Saptha.

The meeting was attended by Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida, MMC member, police and other officials.
