Fatima statue arrives in Goa as part of centenary celebrations of the apparition

Thousands of devotees flocked to receive the statue and seek her blessings.

A mass was held at Our Lady of Hope church in Chinchinm under the theme Fatima Centenary India Tour: Prayer, Penance and Peace to help the promised  Triumph of Immaculate Heart of Mary’. Our Lady had appeared to three shepherds, namely Lucia dos Santos and her cousins  Francisco and Jacinta Marto in 1916 at Fatima in Portugal.

The statue will leave for Mumbai from Goa.
