Bakri Eid celebrated in state

Bakri Eid or Id-ul-Zuha was celebrated across the state on Saturday. This is a festival that Muslims celebrate with special prayers, greetings and gifts and with traditional fervor and gaiety.

Many Muslims sacrifice a sheep or goat and share the meat with family members, neighbors and the poor.
