Why attack Church & leave Sadhvi Saraswati, Cong asks BJP

There is yet another blame game played by the Congress on the issue of desecrations. The opposition party is asking why the ruling BJP did not file FIR against Sadhvi Saraswati who said beef eaters should be hanged.

 The Congress has also demanded a CBI probe into the issue of desecrations of religious shrines.

 Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Shantaram Naik has tried to turn the tables against the BJP when the ruling party is blaming the Church for polarising the Goan society.

According to him, the BJP is actually polarising by protecting hate mongers like Sadhvi Saraswati but attacking the Church because it has raised questions regarding police arresting only one person for desecrations. 

Congress MLA Alex Reginald Lourenco has countered the attack by Goa Forward on Church on the issue of death of Fr Bismarque Dias.

He asks why the coalition government is not taking the probe of Fr Bismarque to the logical end.
